private label & custom projects

At Dot & Lil we love new projects! We would love to make things just for you with our private label service.

Cost:

Our price per product will start with our wholesale price plus any costs for printing, labelling, graphics and fragrance testing if needed.

A 50% deposit is always required to confirm your custom order before production.

Production lead time:

10 to 15 business days once the deposit is received and upon receipt of the components of your project.

We are delighted to work on new projects from January to September. Beyond this period, contact us to check whether our production schedule is open for custom.

Delivery:

Shipping cost will be charged separately when your order ships. You can also use your own carrier or come and pick it up for free at our warehouse in Montréal.

Your fragrance:

Choose from all our existing fragrances. We can even mix them to create a semi-custom scent for projects of 500+ units. Already have your fragrance? You will have to send us a sample for testing with our product.

As we are not a specialized scent lab, we do not offer the design and development of entirely tailor-made fragrances.

Custom labels:

We can print custom labels with your design for projects of 200+ units. For smaller orders, we do not print but we can offer a labeling service with labels supplied by you. We do offer a labeling service if you print elsewhere, our team can then label the products for you once received. Of course, we will send you a template corresponding to our containers for your graphic design.

Whether you print with us or elsewhere, your graphics will have to be validated by our team to confirm their compliance with Health Canada regulations.

Containers + boxes:

The jars, bottles, lids, pumps and sprayers available are those from our current collection. You may choose to interchange them for a different look (for example an amber candle jar with a white lid).

The paper and cardboard packaging used for our candles, gift set and sachets is available for customization, as long as you are able to meet the printing minimums of our external packaging supplier. 

Graphics:

We offer a basic graphic design service, at a cost of $70.00 per item, available only on projects 500+ units.

For smaller orders, your label design must be submitted to us and validated by our team to confirm compliance with Health Canada regulations. For all products other than candles, our company name and address as the manufacturer must appear somewhere on the packaging to comply with Health Canada cosmetic regulations.
